IDAHO POPULATION GROWTH (KPVI-TV: Fri, 23 Mar) BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Idaho's population has grown 2.6% to 1.47-million people. Recently released U-S Census Bureau estimates say most of the growth took place in the state's six urban counties. Ada, Canyon, Kootenai, Twin Falls, Bonneville and Bannock Counties grew 3.6% from mid-2005 to mid-2006.
